So, I have one of those hanging caddy things, but I don't love it.  It's black and everything I put in it (bobby pins, hair nets, etc.) just disappear.  I love my DD, but I need somewhere to sit stuff.  What do you all do?

We have a roll up make up bag with clear pockets but sometimes it gets too heavy for the DD. [smile] So we use something like this a clear accessories hanging organizer for things like that.

We basically have something like that above (the hanging organizer).  Got ours at Gordman's and I love it!  Each girl has one side for their own jewelry, hair pins, etc. I also have the hanging shoe organizer from Dream Duffel, but I don't like the size. Takes up too much of my rack room at the moment, but I have 2 girls sharing a medium this year. Next year we're getting a second DD, and then I'll have more room for this somewhere. I like the shoe organizer for somewhere to put hairspray, make-up wipes, etc. so they are at arms reach while I'm standing up doing hair, etc, and also for girls to throw their half ballets in when they are taking them on and off every other number.

We have a small hanging bag with clear pockets and zippers for small stuff, jewelry, hair items, make-up etc.  We use a shoe pocketed hanging thing for items like hairspray, hairbrush, extra undies etc, lighter items.  I have found great things at Tuesday Morning and Marshalls.

We use a Stanley in addition to our dream duffel.  This is the one we use:

I purchased some small plastic square containers from the dollar store similar to the ones in the link below.  I put these in the tray of the Stanley.  One has bobbi pins, one has hair binders, one has barettes and, and one has safety pins.  I put the brush, comb, and hairspray on the tray as well.  This has worked the best for us as all the supplies are readily available for quick hair changes.  We use the bottom of the Stanley for the first aid kit, snacks, and a small soft sided cooler for drinks.  Is it a pain to have two items to roll in? Sometimes it is, but I find it's worth it for how much easier this has made it for us.  My DD just rolls the Stanley in and I roll the dream duffel in.  We also have the hanging organizer like others have shown.  One side for makeup and the other side for jewelry and hair accessories.
