Hi, My dd19 is a college student. She is a psychology major and a dance major. Her program is primarily all modern and ballet classes. And then performances through the department are primarily modern or contemporary. But she is missing Jazz dance soooo much. She wants to do the Joffrey Jazz in NYC this summer. Does anyone know of older students and how'd they like the program?

There's the Boulder Jazz Intensive in Colorado that is another choice if she is open to other choices. It is specifically geared towards college aged students from what I had heard (it was on dd's list of non-ballet programs).

My daughter attended Steps in NYC for their summer intensive, there were college aged students there. The curriculum included jazz, ballet, modern and hip hop.

Thank you both very much!  Yes the broadway dance program would be perfect . Unfortunately, she only has two weeks she can dance because she has to work  and I think their program is longer.
