I am cast as Dorothy (in the musical Dorothy in Wonderland). There is an act where I am falling for several minutes as I see and recognize objects swirling around me. I am very open to advice on convincing arm and body movements. Examples that I've found on YouTube all look pretty lame. I am thinking to keep my arms raised somewhat, and occasionally hold down my hair. Should I keep my feet firmly planted--or should I slightly raise a foot occasionally. Maybe the motion would be like I'm surfing--trying to keep my balance and fall straight down... Any thoughts here will be very much appreciated. Thank you! Franki

Whatever arm and body movements you decide upon, moving from upstage to downstage (if that works with the overall choreography) will make you appear to get larger as if getting closer to the ground.
