Looking for suggestions for a piece of music needed for a school dance solo assessment for my 15 year old dd.  The theme is Journey to the Afterlife.   We have listened to so much that we have no idea anymore.

She is hoping to break the dance into 3 sections.  Death, Journey and Arrival/Acceptance.  It is recommended that the music be instrumental.  She is happy to piece music together if required.  Any suggestions or am I asking the impossible?

Elton John has a beautiful song called Funeral For A Friend.  I saw a piece to it years ago and it was very impactul.

DD danced to a female monk choir this year in a dance dedicated to a spiritual journey. I would recommend looking at monk choir music. I can't find what DD danced to online, but it was beautiful.

I love "The Way" by Zach Hemsey and it has so many changes in rhythm it may work for what you need.  You can click on his album link as well to hear more of his music.  I think he's great!

Thanks everyone.  They are some great suggestions.  I'll pass them on to her.
