Because dance is both expensive and time consuming, I wanted to take my time to write and warn about LUCKYLEO leotards. These are advertised as custom made leotards and can look pretty from on-line/social media photographs. My daughter tried to buy two. Neither fit. The sizes and cuts are NOT ACCURATE. Too big / too large / too small / too tight ... she tried to make different sizes work. Most importantly, the owner who runs the company did . The item was promptly returned. It was never worn. It was sent back for $12 at our own expense. All returns are sent back at the senders expense. NOT REFUND for a $70-plus leotard Once returned, the owner said she would not refund our money. She demanded that we pay for her to send us back the incorrectly fitting leotard or that she would just keep the leotard and NOT REFUND my money. It was certainly the most incredible business threat I'd heard in some time. My daughter had actually saved up her own money for these leotards. She had been trying to handle her the returns herself. I got involved when the owner kept responding to her negatively because I could not believe she would keep my daughter's money. With so many options for leotards and dance wear, do NOT work with this little company that believes squeezing each penny out of a customer is smarter business that building relationships with customers who will be dancing for years, if not their entire lives.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. My daughter owns about a dozen Lucky's and we have NEVER had an issue with customer service and the fit is usually right on. The leos with mesh tend to run a bit snugger, but that is usual for most brands. We have only found one style that just does not work for my dd. The quality of Lucky's can't be beat either. They hold up better than any other brand we have tried.

My daughter bought one after seeing it on social media. It did fit as we ordered one size up after reading the measurements. The leg line though was way too low. We ended up paying a professional to remake the legs. We won’t buy again.

We just received a red one a few weeks ago and it fits perfectly. My DD loves it.

My daughter has a snowflake leo and she adores it. It stays on her shoulders with no problem even though it's very low cut in the back

My daughter is one of the few that Lucky Leo just doesn't fit right on but she wishes they did. We had no problem returning leotards after a pre-approval and customer service was top notch. She eyes her friend's Lucky Leos all the time (looking at you gymanddance).

We have ordered many leos from Lucky and have had no problems with sizing. They do say on the website that they run small but we haven't found that to be the case. They do take returns if the hang tag is still attached. I'm assuming yours wasn't. Also not sure why it was $12 for you to send back, priority shipping flat rate is $6.50.
