DD has her Joffrey jazz and contemporary on Sunday and we see that they require one picture with the dancer in a jumping pose with face clearly visible. How important is this photo? DD is stressing because we are having our photographer take it on Saturday (day before audition) and she wants it to be technically perfect, I am trying to tell her not to worry so much about this but I dont think she will believe me until I tell her that the other dance moms online say its not a big deal either! Looking for advice for the photo/ how important is the photo actually?

Nothing to stress about. Joffrey accepts everyone. The picture is for identification only. We always used a comp picture.

There really isn't even a need to have this photo taken professionally. She will get in even with a blurry photo. Auditions for this program are more for placement than anything else.
