Hello, I'm not sure how much (or how much is too much) to add here. I guess I'll start with a little and let the veterans tell me what else I should add without being a bore?

Daughter just turned 10. Dancing her 3rd year, only second year more seriously.

I am so happy to have found this forum and so appreciative that there are moms who like to support one another !

Welcome to the group, Noel.  You'll find lots of great info here!

I have a college DD who does dance team, one who does cheer team, a 15DD on competitive dance, and a 12DD at a pre-pro ballet school.

Welcome!

Add whatever you feel comfortable with or remain as anonymous as you choose. [smile]

I'm a dancemom to a 19 yo ballet dancer, who did start off in comp dance. I wish I had found these boards when dd was still relatively new to this journey!

Hi and welcome!! Nice to have you. My dd started competing when she was 10 too. It was a difficult transition first two years but we hit the stride last season and I am really looking forward to this year! It's so much fun but a lot of pressure on the dancers and on moms!! Lol
