Any tips on how to defrizz a curly ponytail wig? It is a synthetic hairpiece with curly-Q curls that fits over my daughter's bun. Some of the curls have gotten a bit frizzy (presumably from our quick hair changes during comps).

Have you washed it? In the past, we've done cold water and conditioner and then air dry. It didn't totally get rid of the frizz, but it improved it some.

My mom used to wash my doll's hair with shampoo then finish with some liquid fabric softener in water.

Try wig shampoo and conditioner. Wash as directed and let air dry, then brush it out. The curls should spring back and the frizz should be gone.
You can find wig fiber oil and special hairspray online too that helps.

Thanks for posting this! I have a curly ringlet hair piece that DD had to use this past season that's in rough shape - came to us already with frizzy bits right out of the package and I've been trying to figure out all season how to fix it. Will pick up the wig shampoo & conditioner and give it a try.
