For those of you Midwestern dance parents, or anyone who attends BTF or NYCDA conventions (or any others you might recommend) conventions in Chicago, are the rooms ridiculously crowded? I have heard that this is very city-dependent.
We are attending NUVO in a few weeks in Chicago, but my dancers will be in the "nubie" room which I doubt will be crowded. Just thinking ahead.

Yes, very. The nubie rooms aren't too bad.

Yes we attended NUVO last year as a Nubie in Boston - and it was very nice. This year as a mini - WOW... very different and crowded - but the minis were nowhere near what the teen room looked like. OMG.
I do have to say NUVO - with it's auditions does get a chance to look at everyone - not just the sea of kids in the classes. Not all conventions do that.

Yes. NYCDA is a madhouse as is a adrenaline.
