Sorry for all these song questions!

I need a song for an 8 year old contemporary solo.  We are still yet to find out if it needs to be instrumental or not, so throw some ideas at me?

Many thanks!

My DD did her contemporary solo to Song for Viola this year. It has been my favorite dance yet!

My daughter danced to Alone with Numbers this year and we've loved her solo.

I love I Found, by Amber Run. I also Like Sparks, by Amber Run as well.

If she is only 8, you want to do a happier song than sad. It's hard for 8 year olds to express all the emotion that goes into a more sad/somber solo, unless you think your DD can do it 😉

Usually happier contemporary solos for younger girls do better than sad ones at the competitions we've seen.

Have you seen the newer movie A Wrinkle in Time?  There's a LOT of really good dance music in there.

She also likes this one:

Thank you for these - I'll let her teacher hear these and see what she thinks!
