Daughter is doing a Hermione character dance in the spring. It's ballet, so instead of the pleated skirt Hermione usually wears, I'm debating over:

1) shorter pleated grey skirt
Or
2) grey tutu skirt

Preferences? The top of her outfit is an exact copy of a Hogwarts school sweater with shirt snd tie.

Personally, I like the idea of the grey tutu. It fits with the dance style nicely but still ties into the "school girl" look.

Thanks for the input, ATS [smile]

I was thinking more of a non-stiff tutu skirt - like soft tulle.  Something like this?  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332416825958?var=541443172811

Or this?  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331471433207?var=540967522425

This one is a lot pouffier, and I didn't know if it was the wrong look? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232136448597?var=531337595492

My daughter has a skirt like the bottom one. It is very puffy! Probably not what you are going for
