Has anyone used an arch genie to improve their dancer's arch? I'm looking for info on whether this is safe and if it actually helps. DD is 9.

We have one, it was very rarely used. Dd found more improvement with simple theraband exercises. The arch genie is literally a piece of padded wood with a fabric pouch on the end to put your foot in. Nothing about the shape of it is particularly advantageous, plus it allows sickling if the dancer is so inclined.
The first 4 theraband exercises at this link and the last (towel grab) are helpful. They really did help my daughter develop a better looking arch in her foot. https://www.russianpointe.com/perfect-fit/shoe-care-prep-accessories/exercise-my-feet/

My daughter has something similar and never uses it. She also uses therabands to strengthen her feet.

Our pedi and chiropractor have advised against them. They suggest the thera bands and active stretching.
