OK- after seeing Chloe wear Tawney G on episode 2 I am in love. I think DD wants to purchase some. The only thing is she is 17! Be honest, would it be weird for someone her age wearing something like that?
Also- to recent purchasers...what are the costs? How fast did you get your outfit?
Fill me in!!

I think it could look just like any other dancewear for her, since she's 17 I'm sure she'd choose colors and fabrics and design that suit her age and not a 7 year olds!

Check out her Facebook page! You can get it with or without ruffles. Prices range from 25-75. HTH!

I think what sets Tawny G out is her price fabrics and ruffles, which I personally think are too old for a 17 year old, but if that is what your DD likes then get it, who am I to judge If you are going to spend alot on the outfit and have it basic with no ruffles, you could just go to, let's say Bodkini and get 2 or 3 for that price.

I'm all for TawneyG for any age! I'm 21 and this past summer I finally placed an order when I was at the Dance Teachers Summit (There was a booth). I choose to get a unitard and Tawney made suggestions to avoid it looking immature. Personally, I like dance attire that stand out, so I choose a brighter print with a black base and a ruffle up the back. It was approximately $50-60 for the unitard and shipping and I received it in roughly 4 weeks. I'd say if she likes it, then go for it!
(I've tried to post a picture, hopefully it works!)

Dancetoinspire, are you wearing the new Capezio Fizzon? Do they work well for ballet? I was thinking of getting some for my son.

Yes, I am wearing fizzions. I started wearing them for jazz and ballet, but I would actually prefer to wear them more for ballet (I am a fan of the classic Pedini for jazz). They are extremely light and almost feel like a sock on your foot. They are great cause allow me to "feel the floor" more than canvas ballet shoes do. The only issue I have with them is that they start to dig into my heel if I am wearing them for an extended period of time. The quality seems to be good as well!
